ABSTRACT
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y retrospectivo de todos los pacientes mayores de 15 años de edad, de ambos sexos, atendidos en la Clínica Estomatológica Provincial Docente de Santiago de Cuba con diagnóstico de comunicación bucosinusal o diagnosticados en ese momento, en el quinquenio 2003 - 2008, para identificar las principales características de esta afección, generalmente causada por exodoncias traumáticas, si bien el tratamiento fue eficaz en todos los integrantes de la casuística.
A descriptive and retrospective study of all the patients older than 15 years of age, of both sexes, assisted at the Teaching Provincial Stomatologic Clinic in Santiago de Cuba with the diagnosis of oral-sinus passage or those who were diagnosed in that moment, in the five year period 2003-2008 was carried out, to identify the main characteristics of this disorder generally caused for traumatic exodontias, although the treatment was effective in all the members of the case material.
